Scientific program
The program for the next meeting of the International Society for Sexual Medicine will be organized around the concept that good sexual health is a portal to good general health. The theme of the meeting will be "Sexual Health: A Gateway to Good Health." The scientific program will have a larger representation of sessions devoted to women's sexual health than in past ISSM meetings. About 1/3 of the program will focus on women's sexual health matters while the other 2/3 will focus on men's sexual health matters. Couples' sexual health matters will be covered in both the women's and the men's sexual health sessions.
The meeting will start on Sunday 26 September 2010 and conclude on Thursday 30 September 2010. During the five days of the meeting, there will be a daily State of the art Lecture given by distinguished experts on topics of major interest; Master lectures given by experienced senior members on topics of major interest; Round table sessions on current hot topics; Interactive sessions in which members of the audience can interact with expert panel members; point-counterpoint sessions in which controversies in sexual medicine will be debated; numerous Instructional courses; video sessions; podium and poster sessions; a hall for poster exhibitions; sponsored symposia; the biennial session on humor in sexual medicine; a valuable session on the history of sexual medicine; and special teaching sessions on the use of the internet and internet technology, how to write and/or review scientific publications and the basics of medical statistics.
